It’s natural therefore that we are closely interested and engaged in the developing technology of AI and its responsible use and regulation.

Stakeholder engagement

AI technology and the regulatory landscape continues to evolve, so it’s important for us to engage closely and regularly with all stakeholders to listen and learn and communicate our insights and expertise. We engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the world, including government departments, regulators, trade associations, to help shape a responsible, proportionate, coherent, interoperable, and practical approach to the regulation of AI.

Our members are experts in a range of disciplines and roles that are highly relevant to the developing AI landscape within the insurance and long-term savings industry.

We bring together these experts to share knowledge, insights, and expertise, agree priorities and develop thinking, and implement projects that aim to be practical and timely, and focus on how best to implement responsible use of AI.

We host and participate in speaking engagements on the developing regulatory framework for AI. We are always keen to discuss and debate the key issues that this evolving technology raises for the insurance and long-term savings sector, its customers, and wider society.

We publish a monthly AI newsletter, summarising the latest regulatory developments in the UK and internationally. Our Members and Associate Members can subscribe to this newsletter as part of their membership.
