At the ABI, we showcase the insurance sector's essential role in helping businesses and individuals build and maintain a more resilient workforce while exploring the cross-cutting themes affecting our industry through our Health and Protection Committee. We oversee initiatives on genetics and insurance, including the joint UK Government and the ABI Code of Practice on the use of genetic testing in insurance. Additionally, we support health, protection, and travel insurers and reinsurers to meet the needs of individuals with prior or existing mental health conditions when they are seeking insurance cover.
